FAQ image

Can I paddle by myself?

Solo paddlers must be able to perform a solo re-entry (for example after taking our Beginner Kayak Course). Sit on top kayaks are an alternative we provide if you have no re-entry experience.

Can kids go kayaking?

Yes — children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.

Under 12: Must paddle in a double kayak with an adult and stay close to shore.

Ages 12–16: May paddle a single kayak if they are over 5’ tall, have taken a lesson or camp with us, and have an adult paddling with them.

One adult is required for each child under 16.
